S E A W O R T H Y // New Orleans
Seaworthy is tucked away in a quaint little spot in the CBD, New Orleans. Though the restaurant looks small from the outside, it hosts an upstairs area as well as a courtyard. Seaworthy has become one of my favorite restaurants in the city for their flavorful seafood, such as the Black Drum, caviar, and a huge oyster menu.
I ordered the “Forever Your’s, Betty...”(beth willow): Silky, supple, and elegant...but enough about Betty-- This sour is rich with blackberry gin, campari, and a velvety egg-white; Ring that bell (nasthia villavicencio) Plantation’s pineapple rum daiquiri spin with a dash of elderflower; and the Black Drum: roasted black drum, sauteed sweet corn, field peas, green onion, miso, oyster bacon, salsa verde.
